Our crew is licensed, insured and WSIB covered. Repairs carry the same written 1-year labour warranty as our installations, and we take on small jobs other contractors turn down.

Dropped cast iron, dragged appliances and split boards are the most common repairs we see. We cut the damaged boards out with a plunge saw set to the exact board depth.
Replacement boards have their bottom groove lip removed so they drop into place. They are glued and fastened, then filled and finished to match.
Dark pet urine stains in oak often go through the full thickness of the board, so sanding alone will not remove them. Those boards are replaced.
Small burns and deep scratches can sometimes be scraped, filled and colour matched. Larger ones get a board replacement.
Floating floors can separate at the seams or peak where boards push against each other. Usually the cause is missing expansion gaps, a pinned floor or an uneven subfloor.
We find the cause, then relieve the pressure, re-lock or replace planks and fix the underlying issue so it does not return.
Repairs make sense when the damage is limited and the rest of the floor is sound. A good rule of thumb is damage under about 20% of the room.
A repair is usually not worth it when damage is widespread, when the subfloor underneath is rotted, or when no matching material can be found for a prefinished floor.

Ask for a Free QuoteYes. We cut out the damaged boards, remove the tongues and weave in new ones so the joints stay staggered. On a site-finished floor, we then blend the finish so the repair does not stand out.
We look for spare boxes first, then borrow boards from a closet or under an appliance, then search reclaimed and specialty suppliers. If needed, we can have boards milled to match your width and thickness.

Yes. Near a wall we unclick the rows and swap it.
In the middle of a room we cut the damaged plank out and glue in a replacement with its locking edge trimmed. You need a matching plank, so keep your spares.
